Kisan Bharti Vikas Sansthan (KBVS) - History, Mission & Vision

History

Kisan Bharti Vikas Sansthan (KBVS) was established in 1999 by a group of dedicated social activists with a vision to uplift rural communities in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. Initially, the group functioned as an awareness team working to spread vital knowledge about key social issues, such as girls' education, women’s rights, child rights, health, natural resource management, and livelihood opportunities. The team focused its efforts on the rural blocks of Sahara and Raipur in Bhilwara district, addressing the pressing needs of the local population.
As the group’s initiatives gained momentum and the demand for more structured interventions grew, the team registered itself as a formal organization under the Rajasthan Society’s Registration Act, 1958, on June 26, 1999, with Registration No. 22. Since its establishment, KBVS has remained steadfast in its mission to promote sustainable development and empower rural communities through participatory programs that foster self-reliance and holistic growth.
